Khaki pants can either be a good fashion choice or a bad one; it all depends on who is wearing them. I think khaki pants are the best thing a guy can wear, but they aren't extremely flattering or stylish on women.
I may be biased due to my short-lived time as a Target employee, where there was no escaping the dreaded khaki, or my K-9th grade school experience where khaki was part of our mandatory dress code. But unless you are going for that country club, Ralph Lauren, mom look, Khakis should only be worn by women when trying to look professional. Even then black is a better option.
It’s a different story for men wearing these pants. There is nothing more flattering than a guy wearing a semi-slim legged pair of Khaki pants. The best thing is this look is versatile. Khaki pants work for the skater look, the hipster look, and even the professional look. It’s all about what your pair them with, but with a neutral color, there is no going wrong.
Some of my favorite brands of Khaki pants for men come from Pac Sun and Zumies.
So guys keep on rocking the Khaki, and more of it, and girls, save it for the golf course.
